The XL Shad is designed specifically for large predatory fish like the Murray Cod! It is 200mm long and has a slim design which makes it perfect for targeting all sized cod. Smaller fish will easily have a crack at this plastic right through to the monsters.

Designed with high details and features; scale pattern, fins, eyes and body shape. This plastic also has a split belly and a groove along the back which aids with rigging straight and also weedless rigging.

Perfect for use in lakes and dam targeting bog Murray Cod through to fishing in rivers rigged with a large weedless hook. The thin profile makes this plastic the perfect shape for weedless rigging.

Rhys' Recommendation: ‘These plastics are great to have as they are slightly slimmer in profile to many other plastics on the market. This makes them lighter and easy to fish with, provides a much higher hookup rate and they are also perfect plastic for weedless rigging. I like to rig these with a large 10/0 or 12/0 weedless hook and fish them tight to timber, in both rivers and dams. Also work well rigged on a jighead with a stinger and fished deep in the dams for giant cod.’
